1. Connor Weddington CB- 5-11 183 Sumner -2017

Arguably one of the states overall best athletes in the class. Connor picked up 1st team All SPSL 3A at RB and CB and also league MVP. Accounted for 2,366 all purpose yards carried the ball 174 times for 1,713 and 26 touchdowns and also snagged 5 interceptions. Connor has the true frame to be a lockdown corner at the next level. His size, speed, and overall athleticism could easily allow him to be one of the best corners on the west coast. He has the prototypical size you are looking for in a Power 5 conference Cornerback prospect. His film displays multiple long runs from his running back position showing that top end speed is not an area of concern for him and he could easily run with any receiver at the next level. Very raw at the cornerback position and needs to work on his technique to be successful at the next level. Has all the tools needed to blossom into a legit game changer on defense in the right scheme and with the right coaching. His natural ability to go up and take the ball away from opposing receivers on contested passes makes him a quarterbacks nightmare. This winter/spring circuit will be huge for Connor if he is able to sharpen up his technique and display his natural athleticism at corner and show that he can lock down some of the other top players in the country on a national stage he Could easily be choosing out of a handful of BCS schools where he wants to play the next four to five years of football at.

Offers: Eastern Washington

Recruit Comparison: Ryan Lewis, Eastlake HS signed w/ Pittsburg (2012)

2. Anfernee Gurley CB 5-11 165- Archbishop Murphy 2017

Probably the most underrated player in the class of 2017. Anfernee posses a great combination of size and speed to play corner at the next level. Patient at the line of scrimmage and technically sound in press man coverage, fluent hips, natural ball skills, and has the ability to turn and run with receivers effortlessly. Physical corner that is not scared of contact delivers hits like a a linebacker and plays with a high motor. Could be the ideal cover 2 corner at the next level because of his ability to be active in the run game. Playing against a lower level competition (Washington 2A football) is his one down fall and he will need to have a big winter/spring circuit to showcase his skills in front of college coaches and media in order to gain the needed exposure to be an early offer athlete.

Recruit Comparison: Desmond Trufant Wilson HS signed w/ Washington (2009)

3. Darreon Moore- CB-5-11165- Kamiakin - 2017

Probably one of the states only true corner prospects. Excellent in zone coverage, great feel for the game, rarely tested but when balls are thrown in his direction he makes opposing offenses pay. Darreon grabbed 2 interceptions and 10 PBU's and recorded 39 tackles as a junior. Very smooth athlete, that can cover the field well playing as a deep third corner. Needs to work on his overall technique, does not show up well in the run game, could struggle in man coverage against better competition, does not close on balls well and is not extremely explosive in and out of his breaks. Overall Darreon is fierce competitor, plays the game with confidence and loves to compete. Playing in the right system could be a player that grows into a great collegiate corner at the next level, could be a sleeper prospect for a BCS school.

Recruit Compression: Brandon Jones Odea HS- Signed w/ Cal (2006)

4. Dominique Gates CB- 5-10 160 - Odea 2017

Raw talent that makes plays, breaks on balls in a hurry, and will come up and hit you in the run game. Shows a lack of technique and is used primarily as a cover three bail corner, and struggles in man to man coverage. Does not do a great job in press coverage, but has a lot of natural ability to make up for his flaws at the high school level but will need to improve dramatically in order to make an impact at the next level.

Recruit Comparison: Dee Maggitt Lakes HS signed with Hawaii (2010)

5. Dedrian Milligan- CB 6-0 180 Lakes 2017

Prototypical size you would like to see in a BCS prospect at 6-0 180lbs, extremely athletic and plays the game with swagger and attitude. Raw talent that has a lot of room for improvement. Very fluent in his backpedal and turns and opens his hips naturally. Great ball skills when the ball is in the air and is a playermaker on defense. Could be an athlete that burst onto the scene during the winter/spring circuit and makes a big name for himself.

Recruit Comparison: Ellis Henderson Skyview HS Signed w/ Hawaii (2011)
