1. Willie Patterson QB- 5’9 161 Franklin Pierce- 2017

Patterson is a mobile quarterback that can also stand in the pocket and deliver the mail. There have been many questions surrounding this kid because of his small stature and if that will be a problem at the next level. Patterson has been compared to University of Oregon QB Vernon Adams for his uncanny ability to make things happen. In 2015 Willie threw for 2,859 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions to lead the Washington State Jr class of Quarterbacks. As of right now he is the cream of the crop in the class of 2017, but this winter/spring circuit will be huge for Patterson’s growth.

Recruit Comparison: Quintin Jackson; Renton HS- Signed w/ Montana 2004

2.Tanner Bolt - QB- 6’1 180 Prosser -2017

Tanner Bolt is the new-aged gunslinger in the Prosser Mustang football program, one that produced record setting QB Kellen Moore almost a decade ago. This pass happy offense enables their signal caller to put up staggering numbers year in and year out. Watching his tape; he shows flashes of some special ability, has a very quick release and can throw on the run. He’s got a great upside and will need to continue to work on his technique. This season he went 142 of 219 for 2,348 yards, 34 touchdowns and 7 Interceptions, heading into the state tournament. It will be interesting to track his progress throughout the rest of his high school career.

Recruit Comparison: JT Levenseller; Pullman HS- Signed w/ Washington State 2007

3. Paxston Stevens QB- 6’3 190 Richland -2017

Paxston stepped onto the scene in 2015, showing great ability to throw the ball. His 6’3 stature will draw some attention from scouts if he is able to clean up his decision-making. In an offense that suits him well, there should be significant growth from his junior to senior season. Stevens has a strong arm and delivers a nice long ball when he has time. A solid high school player that could set himself up for success if he gets after it this off season.

Recruit Comparison: JT Levenseller Pullman HS- Signed w/ Washington State 2007

4. Zach Zimmerman QB- 6’2 185 Monroe - 2017

Zimmerman is a dual threat quarterback with his best football yet to be played. He has the ability to beat you on a long ball with his arm, or make things happen with his legs. A very raw athlete, Zach has the size to play at the next level. The 6 foot 2 185 pound prospect threw for 1,546 yards 15 touchdowns and 3 interceptions in 2015. Zimmerman has got a solid arm, able to complete intermediate to deep balls with ease. With his frame he could put on another 10-15 lbs and grow another inch or two to become a prototype next level QB, whether it be Division 1AA or Division II.

Recruit Comarison: Jeff Minnerly Ferris HS Signed w/ Eastern Washington (2008)

5. Ryder Johnson QB- 6’5 210 Peninsula 2017

Ryder has the ideal height for a Quarterback at any level. With a 6 foot 5 inch frame , if he is able to put on some lean muscle mass and continue to progress as a quarterback he could be a nice addition to a collegiate roster. His decision making and technique flaws could be his achilles heel going forward. Johnson completed 43% of his passes for 1,069 yards 6 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in 2015. Offseason work will go a long way in helping Ryder improve his game as he goes into his Sr year.

College Comparison: Andy Gay Jackson HS- Signed w/ Dartmouth (2010)
